Summer’s blaze singes spring’s tender leaves. Beneath the summer skies the season is changing. The air is crisp with fresh cool breeze. Red berries ripen weighing on branches. Sweet and ripe upon the vine, Ancient fruits of wisdom turn to wine.
Summer rays fade as cobwebs gather Autumn leaves change Brilliant gold, orange, red, and brown, Falling leaves. Everything is still for a moment, There is balance of night and day Light and darkness Change and a renewal
The Earth trembles beneath the harvest skies Giving thanks for the blessed rains Her roots reach down deep Into the darkness of the abyss; to weave the seams of unseen blessed dreams
The giving Mother Earth waits with anticipation, For her rivers and streams to fill, With the rains gushing waters, To flood her land and nourish the trees The life-giving spark begins to stir. The promise to cloak her bones, Of lush verdant foliage, In the spring to come.
