Merry do we meet again

I was lost within the darkness
There was no direction in my feet
Holding my hands before me
I stumbled blindly ahead
How long did I wander along?

There were moments when I felt the power,
Of the horned one in the chase
Felt the sweetness of the mother,
When the full moon rose,
Smelled the scent of the forest,
Just out of reach.

Then almost like a whisper,
Under a canopy of Oak,
The Lord and Lady said,
“Merry do we meet again”
My heart began to smile once more
A feeling of completeness surrounded me

Now the darkness has moved to light
My circle has become complete
I feel the turning of the wheel within me
I wander alone no more.
