Priestess: Blessing the circle with Water and Earth (example)

Hold the water over the altar space and say:

"Great Goddess ________ , Mother of All, bless this creature of Water. May we always remember the sacred waters of wisdom that are the source of all life."

Sprinkle salt into water saying:

"Bless also this Earth in its many forms and beings, nurturing and sustaining all that lives."

"Let now the elements of Water and Earth combine to clean and protect us from all negative thoughts and energies."

Starting in the East, bless the circle.

"With Water and Earth I bless and consecrate this circle."

Priest: Blessing the circle with Fire and Air. (example)

Hold athame over altar space and say:

"Great God ________, bless this creature of Fire. May we always remember the sacred fire that dances within the form of every creation."

Sprinkle incense on coal saying:

"Bless also this creature of Air. May we always listen to the spirit winds that bring us the voices of the Ancient Ones."

Starting in the East, bless the circle.

"With Fire and Air, I bless and consecrate this circle."
